The Shane Standard first appeared in the 1960s. So many surfers first board was a
Standard (incl. Tom Carroll who used to pinch brother Nicks ). The plan is identical
to many modern short boards, we have kept the same early rocker, “S” deck, and round
bottom.
Amazing how advanced we were so long ago!!!. The only change is a harder rail at
the tail, and the addition of two stabilizer fins for those who like more bite, retaining
the standard certer box fin for traditionalists.
Each board comes with the endorsement of some of our best known surfers.
“Makes you surf with style again”, and “Every surfer should learn to surf on one
of these”, and “it allows you to explore parts of the wave you’ve never been on before”.
